立命館創始155年・学園創立125周年記念

立命館大学国際平和ミュージアムでは、中満泉国連事務次長・軍縮担当上級代表をお迎えし、講演会を開催いたします。世界各地で大規模な国際紛争が生じ、多くの市民の生命が脅かされている現在、日本人女性初の国連事務次長・軍縮担当トップとして、国際的な軍縮・平和構築の取り組みを牽引する中満泉氏より、国連の役割やその取り組みの重要性についてうかがいます。

この講演会は、立命館の学部生・大学院生、教職員、附属校の生徒・児童を中心に、幅広い方々を対象としています。グローバルな視点から平和について深く学び、探究につなげる貴重な機会ですので、ぜひご参加ください。

The 155th anniversary of the Ritsumeikan's founding and 125th anniversary of the Academy's founding

◆ Objective of the Event ◆

The Kyoto Museum for World Peace, Ritsumeikan University is pleased to welcome Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu, Under　Secretary　General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs of the United Nations, to deliver a valuable lecture. As the first Japanese female Under Secretary General and High Representative for Disarmament Affairs of the United Nations, Ms. Izumi Nakamitsu has been leading international disarmament and peacebuilding efforts at a time when large-scale international conflicts have been occurring around the world and many civilian lives are being threatened.

This lecture is open to all Ritsumeikan University undergraduate and graduate students, faculty and staff, as well as students and children from affiliated schools. The general public is welcomed as well. Please join us for this valuable opportunity to learn, explore, and think deeply about peace from a global perspective.
