開催趣旨

The exhibition “Echoes of Peace: Contemporary Student Anti-War Movement in Kansai and the World” presents the unyielding spirit of youth in the fight for peace.
It highlights the actions of students from Kansai and beyond who have addressed conflicts such as those in Ukraine, Israel-Palestine, and Myanmar, demonstrating their solidarity and resilience in the face of global challenges. Through evocative photographs, artifacts from protests, peace marches, charity events, and encampments, witness the tangible impact of their courage and conviction.
The exhibition also features documentary footage and interviews with students actively engaged in these activities, capturing the essence of their anti-war activism. Together, these elements illustrate the interconnected struggles for peace and the enduring impact of youth-led movements across cultures and communities.

展覧会「E c h o e s o f P e a c e - 平和の声：関⻄と世界における現代学⽣反戦運動」は、平和を求める若者たちの不屈の精神を描き出しています。
本展では、ウクライナ、イスラエル・パレスチナ、ミャンマーといった紛争に⽴ち向かう関⻄や海外の学⽣たちの⾏動を取り上げ、グローバルな課題に対する彼らの連帯と強さを⽰します。
抗議活動、平和⾏進、チャリティーイベント、キャンプなどで使⽤された資料や⼼を揺さぶる写真を通じて、彼らの勇気と信念が⽣み出す具体的な影響をご覧いただけます。また、これらの活動に積極的に関わる学⽣たちへのインタビューやドキュメンタリー映像も展⽰され、彼らの反戦運動の本質が映し出されます。これらの要素を通じて、平和を求める闘いのつながりや、⽂化やコミュニティを超えた学⽣主導の運動がもたらす継続的な影響を⽰します。
